Robert David Daniel

Robert “Rob” David Daniel, 51, of Wichita, KS passed away April 25, 2020 at William Newton Hospital in Winfield, KS.

Cremation will take place; no services are scheduled at this time. Memorial contributions for Rob may be made to “The Grant and Gabe Daniel Education Fund.” Contributions may be left in care of the Shelley Family Funeral Home of Winfield.

Rob was born in San Pedro, CA on July 14, 1968 to Ralph and Judith (Wilder) Daniel. As a military family they moved a lot, including two time in Germany. Eventually coming back to Wichita were Rob graduated from East High in 1986. He earned a bachelor’s degree from Wichita State University and later went to Seattle to attend City University and receive his MBA. While in Germany Rob received his Eagle Scout at the age of 13. Rob was united in marriage to Elizabeth Parrott in 1988, the couple divorced in 1998. On July 1, 2000 Rob married Barbara Graham in Seattle, WA. Rob worked in many different industries including coffee, private label oil, portable storage with Door to Door Storage, manufacturing for Morse Industries as well as Funeral Management for Old Mission and White Chapel of Wichita. He excelled in sales and was considered a great teacher by those lucky enough to work with him. He was a CEO and vice president at different times in his career. Rob loved sports especially baseball as his two boys are avid players and the Dallas Cowboys. He was a deacon and an elder in the Presbyterian Church many times over and was always very involved. More than anything, Rob loved his family.

He is survived by his wife Barbara Daniel, sons Grant and Gabriel Daniel, father Ralph Daniel and sister Cindy Daniel, as well as many aunts, uncles and cousins.

He is preceded in death by his mother, Judith.
