Robert L. Smith, 95, of Arkansas City, KS passed away on Wednesday, March 18, 2020 at South Central Kansas Medical Center.

Cremation will take place with the family holding a private service at a later date. A memorial in Mr. Smith’s name for missions at the Blessing Heights Church of God, 1529 W. Radio Lane, Arkansas City, KS 67005. Online condolences may be left at www.shelleyfamilyfh.com

Robert was born on November 1, 1924 in Benton, IL, the son of Connie Harrison and Martha Jane (Stalcup) Smith. He married Bonnie Downs on February 9, 1952. His family includes his wife, Bonnie, his 5 children; James Smith (Susan) of Dangerfield, TX; Betty Pickens(Roy), Michael Smith, Gary Smith (Charlotte), Timothy Smith (Diana) all of Arkansas City and 14 grandchildren, 33 great-grandchildren and 17 great-great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, 2 brothers and one son-in-law.
