Robert Lee Triplett

Robert “Bob” Lee Triplett, 74, of Burden passed away Tuesday, October 20, 2020 at his home.

Bob was born October 1, 1946 in Wichita, KS. He was raised in Burden by parents Kenneth and Juanita (Whitson) Triplett, he graduated from Central High School in 1961. Bob married Claudette "Pat" Cox in Bedford, England. Bob proudly served in the Air Force for four years, he was honorably discharged in 1969. He worked as a car salesman and at the Winfield State Hospital, he enjoyed horse racing, hunting, fishing and spending time with his family.

Survivors include: wife “Pat”, sons Daron and Kenny (Traci), grandchildren: Alicia (Norma), Laici (Cody), Dakota, and Kristina (Luke), great-grandchildren: Hope, Emma, Noah, Kali, John, Turner and Kash, brother Terry (Linda) and his mother. He is preceded in death by his father and son Rodney.

The family will hold private services at a later date. Arrangements by Shelley Family Funeral Home of Winfield. Memorial contributions may be made to the Cowley County Humane Society, contributions may be left in care of the funeral home.
