Roberta Ann McClure

Roberta (Robbie)  Ann McClure, 59, of Wellington passed away Saturday, December 15, 2018 at her residence. She had worked at the State Hospital in Winfield, Kansas for many years until she decided to be a stay at home mother. 
 
The daughter of Robert and Ermadene (Washington) McClure, Robbie was born January 8, 1959. She graduated from Wellington High School in 1977.
 
Robbie loved her family. Especially her children and grandchildren. They were her whole world. You could find Robbie in the kitchen cooking anything and everything when family was around. She also loved gospel music and God.
 
She is preceded in death by her father, Robert McClure, and her husband, Robert Barnes. She is survived by her mother, Ermadene McClure, of Wellington. Albert Lolar, her significant other. Her sister's, Chris McClure of Wellington, Linda K McClure of Winfield, Shamika (Tim) Chenoweth of Wellington. Her five children, Stasha (Heath) McClure- Calderon of Anthony, LaShawn Barnes of Wellington, Eddy (Shanea) Barnes of Wichita, Erma (Jeffrey) Ratliff of Wellington and Queen Barnes of Wellington. She had two step children, Bobby Barnes and Iynita Baker of Arizona. Her Grandchildren, who she loved so much, Shaily, Tahlaya, Jeremiah, Mikkel, Lyrik, Nyah, King, Messiah and Bryndle. Her nieces and nephews Kimberly, Velvet, Hannah, Couper, Camille and Chantel.
 
Memorial services will be held at First Christian Church in Wellington, Kansas on Friday, December 21st at 11 am. 
 
In lieu of flowers the family is asking for donations to be made to the Bryce Day Memorial Fund in Roberta’s name.
