Ronald Eldeen Shroyer of Blackwell, OK passed away Friday, March 8, 2024 at Wesley Medical Center in Wichita, KS.

Ronald was born January 18, 1947 to Royal and Leona Shroyer. He grew up and attended Ark City High School. As a young boy he played sports and sang in their choir. He was an Oklahoma State Trooper for many years. He worked as an over-the-road truck driver, but his favorite thing was to haul campers from state-to-state seeing all the attractions along the way.

He enjoyed collecting coins and computerized trains and watching OU football faithfully. He was a simple man with a lot of love to give. Ronald was a wonderful father, grandfather, and friend to many, and he will be truly missed.

Survivors include his children Pete Odle and family of Sullivan, MO, Cristy Soria and family of Stafford, KS, and Michelle Wells of Stafford, KS.

A celebration of life will be held at 10:00 AM Friday, April 5, 2024 at Memorial Lawn Cemetery of Arkansas City, KS. A dinner will be held at the Stagecoach Even Center in Newkirk, OK at Noon following services. Arrangements are by Shelley Family Funeral Home of Arkansas City.
