Sarah Marie (Hadley) Foster

Sarah Marie (Hadley) Foster, 26, of Winfield, KS, passed away unexpectedly on July 30, 2022.

Sarah was born March 31, 1996, in Wichita, KS, the daughter of Troy and Anita Hadley, and joined two older sisters at home, April and Megan. Sarah was the sweet baby of the family and was given the nickname, "Baby", for probably too long. Sarah was doted on by her parents, grandma, sisters, and April's friends. She was always the little "baby" of the family and will be deeply missed.

Sarah was a beautiful young mother, daughter, granddaughter, sister, cousin, and friend. She attended and graduated from Oxford High School in 2014. Following high school, she became the happy momma to Parker Nathaniel Graham and Victoria Mae Graham. She always wanted to be a mom and have a family. Sarah was united in marriage to Darin Foster, whom she loved, but the two had recently parted ways. Sarah had many aspirations for her life and was studying Psychology in college. Her family is deeply saddened by her early passing.

Sarah was preceded in death by her unborn baby, her Aunt Gayle, Uncle Jimmy, and her grandparents Jerry Hadley, Shirley Donley, Alta Boatman, and Andrew Sevick.

Sarah was always surrounded by close family and leaves behind her young children, Parker and Victoria; her mother and father, Troy and Anita Hadley mourn the loss of their child, gone too soon; her older sisters Megan Hadley (Cliff), and April Spengler (Payton); her loving grandmother, Wanda Sevick and her grandad, Gary Donley; her children’s grandma Bridget Wyatt; her aunts Chryl (Russell), Linda (Russell), Dawna (Randy), and Alisa (Jimmy) and her uncles, Dustin (Sonya) and Garrett (Heather). Sarah had many close cousins who loved her and will miss her.

Sarah also leaves behind her nieces, Maesyn, Addisyn, Annie, and Ayda, and her nephews Jacob and Joel. Sarah became an aunt at a young age and loved her nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Tuesday, August 9, 2022 at the Shelley Family Funeral Home of Winfield, burial will follow at Highland Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 5-7 P.M. Monday, August 8 at the funeral home. A memorial has been established in Sarah's name at Community National Bank to help defray funeral costs and for her children, Parker and Victoria. Donations should be made payable to the “Sarah Hadley Memorial Fund”, contributions may be left in the care of the Shelley Family Funeral Home.
