Sheralyn Sue Schamahorn

Sheralyn Sue Schamahorn, 78, of Arkansas City, KS passed away on Wednesday, December 7, 2022, surrounded by her family.

A celebration of life service will be held at Venue 208 on December 17th from 3-7 PM. Memorial contributions in her name may be made to the Cowley County Humane Society, donations may be left in the care of the Shelley Family Funeral Home of Arkansas City.

Sheralyn was born on September 12, 1944 in Lubbock, TX to parents Thomas and Betty (Eagan) Parrish. She graduated from Arkansas City High School and later attended Cowley Cosmetology School. Sheralyn worked for many years as a medical assistant and retired after working as a para for USD 465. Sheralyn enjoyed her dogs and all animals, camping, fishing, and music, but most of all she loved spending time with her family.

Sheralyn is survived by her husband Jerry, daughters Angela Logsdon (Doug), Holli Wood, and Kyrsta Engleking; numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and 1 great-great-grandchild; siblings Alan Parrish of Arkansas City and Treva Stout of Winfield. She is preceded in death by her parents.
