Stephanie Kay Johnson

Stephanie Kay Johnson, 41, of Winfield passed away peacefully Saturday, May 29, 2021 at William Newton Hospital.

The family will hold celebration of life services at 4:00 P.M. Sunday, June 6, 2021 at the Winfield Church of Christ. Memorial contributions for Stephanie may be made to the Winfield Church of Christ and Mosaic, donations may be left in care of the Shelley Family Funeral Home of Winfield.

Stephanie was born January 15, 1980 in Palo Pinto, TX to parents Richard Johnson and Vickie Bomar. The family lived in Arlington, TX, Mineral Wells, TX, and South Carolina, before settling in Winfield in 2000, where Stephanie graduated from high school. Stephanie was a cheerleader, and enjoyed performing for the Southwestern Football team. She was a resident at Mosaic and enjoyed having her own apartment and cooking, she also enjoyed going on field trips to Branson where she like to visit Silver Dollar City and the Precious Moments Museum.

Stephanie was very musically inclined; she was a member of the Music of Mosaic Choir and liked jamming out to 80’s music. She worked as a receptionist for Mosaic and was a member of the Winfield Church of Christ. She was an animal lover and enjoyed riding horses; she also liked making crafts and jewelry, journaling, wearing makeup and painting her nails. Most of all she dearly loved her friends and family.

Survivors include: her mother Vickie Bomar of Winfield, brother Rodney James Robberson of Winfield, sister Shelley Carmon Bomar of Newkirk, Uncle Timmy Bomar, Aunt Amanda Bomar and Aunt Charlotte Bomar, nephew Johnathan, and nieces Sierra, Amanda, and Carla. She is preceded in death by her father, Richard Johnson.
