Steven Vincent Evans, 62, of Oxford, KS passed away Thursday, October 27, 2022 at Anew Healthcare and Rehab.
Funeral services will be held at 10:00 A.M. Wednesday, November 2, 2022 at the Oxford Christian Church. Visitation with the family present will be held from 4-6 P.M. Tuesday, November 1, 2022 at the Oxford Funeral Service. Memorial contributions may be made to the Oxford Christian Church, contributions may be left in the care of the Oxford Funeral Service.
Steven was born December 9, 1959 in Wichita, KS the son of Dale and Tommy Gay (Phillips) Evans. He attended school in New Orleans, LA, and Edmond, WA, and he eventually graduated from Oxford, KS High School. Steven was united in marriage to Mitzi McCoy on September 28, 1979 in Oxford. Steven worked as a stretch press operator and a tool die finisher at Boeing for 42 years. He enjoyed reading, gardening, deer hunting, and taking long drives. He was a Chiefs and Nascar fan, and was a member of the Oxford Christian Church.
Survivors include his wife Mitzi, children: Brooke Mueller and husband David, Drew Evans, and Adam Evans, grandchildren Hope and Grant Mueller, sister Diana Provenzano, brother Darren Evans and wife Sarita, Aunt Phyllis Hege, and numerous nieces and nephews. Steven is preceded in death by his parents and brother-in-law Angelo Provenzano.
